Description

This image was taken between 5 and 6pm on June 25th.  The skies were forecast to be clear at the time of this capture.  It's possible there are clouds in the mix here, but the visibility is so low it's impossible to tell.   Throughout the day the smoke rolled into the Northeast and air quality dropped across the region.  The AQI is almost 200 and rising and there is a terrible acrid taste in the air.  Thankfully, I do not have any respiratory complications.  For those who do, my heart goes out to you.  This is really nasty stuff.  I looked out my window and this is what I saw so I stepped out back and snapped a few shots with my Canon 5DIV and 100-400mm zoom lens.

Hopefully the rains come soon and help clear it out.  Ugh...
