Description

Initially i wasnt really that much impressed with my image of C/2022 E3 (ZTF), which i imaged back in february 2023. It was full moon and the comet didnt show much structure.
Few days ago while browsing through astrobin i stumbled upon an image by @Georges  (hope you dont mind i mention you here) showing the C/2022 E3 (ZTF) and a 2nd comet. The framing looked very familiar to me because of the two bright stars Saclateni and Haedus.
So i checked my imaging date and realized that i captured the comet around the same time.
I rewatched my animation and to my excitement i could spot the 2nd comet. Its so dim that without knowing i wouldnt perceive it at all with the short 20s subframes.

Reprocessing was a bit more challenging by creating and combining three stacks (the two comets and the stars).
I also attached the animation of both comets, though the ATLAS one is really dim. As you can see, it was also a bit cloudy..

The image is a stack of 310x20s subs.
I guided along the comet instead of the stars. Not sure if thats the better method in general, but this is my first comet(s) and it was fun to try something different.
