Description

I am really impressed with the details that this galaxy revealed.

All started back in February 2020 when I first imaged this galaxy. Back then I turned my C6 with Hyperstar to this target and acquired 2 hours and a half. I could see a nice blob and was very happy

Now I decided to come back with my EdgeHD 9.25 but only use this target as an initial one while waiting for other galaxies to rise.

I managed to acquire 9 hours of data. But when I stacked it and began to process it - WOW! This galaxy shows a lot of details! I am truly fascinated by the structured and I am a bit sorry that I didn't dedicate the whole three nights to this target.

Nevertheless I don't know whether this will happen this year or next year but I will gather a lot of data and process again.

Till then - here is my current result. A nice spiral that resembles the famous M33 in its form and structure.

NGC 2403 has a size on the night sky of 19.9 x 10.1 archmin and is situated about 10 million light years from us.

CS,
Ivan
