Observatory nearing completion

Description

This is on a very large piece of property I own at the very eastern edge of my county (my eastern fenceline is the county line). I live at the west edge of the county, also called the coast, a.k.a. the frustratingly foggy zone. This observatory is in a high Bortle 2 location, just below the line between a 2 and a 3. There are no streetlights, no artificial lights, no neighbors as far as the eye can see. No rooflines, no power lines, and no trees at this level (this is a high point of the property at about 2,000 feet over sea level). All it needs now is the gate hung, the solar installed, and gravel on the short access road. Also the raise-up pier will likely need some kind of adapter to accept my tracking mount, and I'm looking into that now. Then, come on summer and autumn nights.
