This is an image I've been wanting to capture for a long time. Unfortunately, it is generally blocked by my home which is on the north border of my deck where I set up. After due diligence to determine exactly at what angle the telescope field of view clears the roof (as a result of chasing Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF)) I found that these two galaxies were visible on the night of 13-14 February 2023. This is a collection of frames captured by a ZWO ASI6200MC one shot color, cooled, astro camera via a 160mm APO refractor with a field flattener. I was able to capture 124 two minute frames during the unexpectedly clear skies that night while the pair of galaxies were above my roofline. This was initially processed with PixInsight and finished in Photoshop. Photoshop treatment was minor, but included a very mild application of Topaz DeNoise AI. It could benefit from a few more hours of collection to capture the large diameter of dust surrounding Bode's Galaxy, but not sure when the opportunity will present itself again with both galaxies above my roofline.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.

Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection.
