Description

On February 26, 2023 the Moon and the Pleiades had an appointment!!!
That day the Moon passed within 2° of this magnificent cluster.
Of course the moon was 41% full that night, so it is impossible to take a picture of the Pleiades of such quality with the light of the moon.
This image is therefore the result :
- a photo of the Moon taken that night at 19:49 exactly at 1/3200 for the body of the moon
- another photo of 1 second for the light halo.
- and a series of photos taken on February 13, 2023 without moon for a total of 50 minutes.
Nikon D810A on TS Optics 61/274 EDPH scope on Star Adventurer mount.
The processing of the photo on Pixinsight.
This is a montage but the position and size of the moon are absolutely accurate.
