Description

This linear asterism, referenced as Kemble 1, is located in the  in the constellation Camelopardalis  and is seemingly anchored by the open cluster  NGC 1502.  This ended up being a two panel mosaic to accommodate most of the stars in the cascade. The data sets for the two panels were accumulated over two nights, and Panel two ended up with a lot better data and a much better drizzle integration, which made the mosaic more difficult to process. In this case, the non-drizzled mosaic ended up looking better that the drizzle combination.  An interesting challenge stretching a star field in the absence of nebulosity or other DSO of interest.
