This one took some time to shoot between clouds during our monsoon season. It's a Hydrogen Alpha and Oxygen rich area. But I wanted to get a good base of LRGB to combine the HA and OIII. I merged the LRGB and HA/OIII as screen layers creating a distinct rather natural view that is quite bright with all the data. HA and OIII were processed separately then combined with the finished LRGB data. All separate data sets are attached as V2, 3 and 4 of the image.
This has become my routine process. WBPP for integration, followed by LRGB combination. SPCC is then run on the LRGB image. BlurX, NoiseX, then Generalized hyperbolic stretch. I followed suit for HA and OIII but ran StarX before stretching. I then took the images into Photoshop to re-integrate. Base layer is LRGB. StarX was run in Photoshop here to separate the stars from the background. I then brought in the HA and OIII. A gradient map is then added to both images to apply color to those layers. Then they're set to layer mode screen. Some additional layers are added with masks to adjust contrast of specific areas using curves.
