Description

As I began to image this, the wind really increased! Typical. Somehow I managed to obtain 100 subs at 3 minutes long each, which equates to 5 hours imaging time - I did throw a lot of subs away due to the wind and its affects on the tracking. What I tried to do with this image, was rotate it in such a way and offset the target, so I could image some of the fainter nebulosity away from the main object itself, but I rotated it in the wrong direction to where the main bulk of fainter stuff actually is - but at least I got a bit of something extra - to the top right of the rosette. I quite like the fact that it is off centre.

Happy Christmas.
