Description

M107 is a rather isolated and loose GC just at the periphery of the Milky Way's largest concentration of its brethren, the star clouds of Scorpius-Sagittarius. What is peculiar, in fact the only thing that makes it stand out, is that I captured this from my backyard in Lincoln (UK) and therefore it gets the much coveted "Badge of Most Southernly GC Image", at declination -13.05 degrees. This said seeing and transparency were just a notch or two above terrible, so there you go...
