Description

Ok, couldn't resist the LOTR analogy! The Ring Nebula (M57) is a planetary nebula in the northern constellation of Lyra. Such a nebula is formed when a star, during the last stages of its evolution before becoming a white dwarf, expels a vast luminous envelope of ionized gas into the surrounding interstellar space.

Using my WO GT81 APO and only 78m integration before packing it in, didn't expect much with this target as it is so small and better suited for large aperture scopes but quite happy and surprised with the result. I used 2x Drizzle in DSS for the first time to get the resolution and sharpness up before processing in StarTools v1.8.518beta.
