Description

Incorporating the data from the panel shot to capture Wr134, this mosaic was planned to capture the Tulip nebula and intervening space. Like many projects, it didn't happen as quickly or easily as hoped, or as completely, but at last there was finally enough decent data to at least make a stab at it.

On a per-panel basis, Ha ranged from 29 to 44 x 5 minutes, Sii 24 to 38 x 5 minutes and Oiii from 42 to 86 x 5 minutes. Overall, average Ha was 3 hours, Sii 2 1/2 and Oiii 4 hours. Total imaing time used in creating the mosaic was 40.1 hours

All processing done in PixInsight; mosaic planning in NINA and processing using PhotometricMosaic scripts. RC Astro BXT, NXT and SXT were used as well as Bill Blanshan's modified SCNR script.

This is probably the first of my own images where I prefer the starless version over the stars-included version--I didn't think I was as much of an abstract/impressionist kind of person, but for this one, it seems more appealing to me.
