Description

The Little Sombrero is a small spiral galaxy in the constallation of Pegasus and 40 million ly away. It was the first light of my new system consisting of an EHD 11 and an EQ8. This image is a straight forward LRGB with (again) probably not enough integration time.

90 min RGB data and 2h of luminance went into this image.
Taken without reducer, 2800mm at f10

Enjoy

CS, Volker

PS I also experimented recently with some new tools namely BlurX and Deep SNR, both a.i. tools. I think it is ok to use BlurX early and moderately in the linerar stage as deconvolution tool , however, I have noticed that oversharpening thus creating artefacts can happen quickly and are a real danger, this must be avoided. When I use those tools I will add them to the Software description.
