Description

Frankly, I already parted from Mars as it is becoming smaller, but there were a few clear patches of sky this early evening in that I could not resist in spite of wind gusts that shook the telescope left and right, sometimes vice-versa for a change contributing to improved tracking (auto wind guiding). Among many failures I awarded this one the first prize, the only one that reasonably resembles the planet Mars.

Anyway, here is today's lesson in colloquial Japanese:

On November 7th/8th we had unusual 30°C with over 90%RH and I was naive enough to weed a vegetable field. While bathing in my own sweat a villager came along saying, "Robaato (Japanese for Robert) you should take a shower", and I answered, "oh, is today Christmas?" and he went "No, but you look as if you need a sho... bakayaro (Japanese for idiot)!

Caring and charming people are all around me.
