Description

I never see meteors on my allsky camera. I'd even given up looking for them. However, a NOVAC member posted about seeing a fireball in his camera at 1:07am. I checked mine and I had it as well. I checked the rest of the night and had a total of 5 though the 1:07 meteor was the brightest of the bunch with the 3:25 meteor coming in as second brightest.

The camera takes 30 second exposures all night long. Since each meteor is only in one sub they blink by so fast in the timeless video from the night they would be easy to miss, but blinking through the frames it was pretty easy to pick them out. Unlike airplanes that show up in several frames, the meteors are so quick that they only show up in one so it's pretty easy to tell them apart.
