Description

Andromeda is the closest neighboring galaxy to our own Milky Way. It lies about 2.5 million light years away.
If you know where Cassiopeia is, you can find Andromeda. The deepest "bend" in Cassiopeia, with Schedar
at the vertex, points right towards Andromeda. It's a little more than half way between Schedar and Alpheratz (the lower
corner of the Great Square of Pegasus) and then "down" a bit. Andromeda can usually be seen pretty easily with a
regular pair of binoculars.
