Description

The Lagoon Nebula is a giant interstellar cloud in the constellation Sagittarius. It is classified as an emission nebula and as an H II region. The Lagoon Nebula was discovered by Giovanni Hodierna before 1654 and is one of only two star-forming nebulae faintly visible to the eye from mid-northern latitudes. (Wikipedia)

Coordinates: RA 18h 3m 37s | Dec -24° 23′ 12″

Equipment used: Celestron Nexstar Evo 8" SCT on HEQ5 Pro mount with ZWO 294MC Pro main camera and ZWO 120mini guidecam, 0.63x FR FF, ASI Air Plus and Optolong L enhance filter, dew heaters and two Jackery units.
At 1305mm, I was able to capture 10 x 300sec light subs, [stacked in DSS and processed in Pixinsight and touched up in Paintshop pro for clarity
(30 × 300sec darks, 30 x auto flats)], of this huge target's right half before the clouds came and killed the session
