Description

Today, I share with you my version of the Shrimp Nebula and the Owl Cluster. Both are present in the Cassiopea Constellation. Actually, the Shrimp is not so far away from the Ghost of Cassiopea but much less famous, I would say.

The Shrimp Nebula, also called Dolphin or Firefox Nebula, is a Planetary Nebula discovered in 1951.
Beside, on the left part of the picture, we can see a bright open cluster, NGC 457 (also designated as the Dragonfly Cluster, E.T. Cluster, Owl Cluster, and other names) is located 7,900 light years from our solar system, it is an open star cluster that formed about 21 million years ago.

Once again, I was not planning to shoot these particular targets but the weather was good and the Moon was bright. Therefore, I decided to find an Halpha target. By checking in Stellarium what was actually in my field of view, I noticed a small "comma" not far away from Cassiopea. I then decided to look at this direction. After one night on the target, I was amazed by the details that I was able to catch even with my small focal. After multiple days, I had enough data to present you my version of those two targets.

Additionally, in post-scriptum a magnification of the starless version with a particular focus on the Shrimp.
