Description

Imaged nights of 10/5/2021, 10/13/2021, 10/28/2021

LBN346, LBN347, Sh2-114 and Sh2-113 are complex and unusual Ha emission nebulae.  Sh2-114 resembles a Flying Dragon, which it is commonly referred to. The filamentary structures resemble a supernova remnant. However, no supernova remnant appears to be recorded for this location.
The wispy structures are likely the result of winds from hot, massive stars interacting with the magnetic fields in the interstellar medium. But very little is known about it.
