Description

This is the first time I imaged SH2-119.  It is also the first time that I processed an image only in SIRIL (no affinity photo etc) and just used BlurExterminator and NoiseXterminator to sharpen.  I like the result. This image is a "natural color" composition so  the resulting colors come close to the visible spectrum of the human eye.
SH2-119 (Sharpless 119 ) Sharpless 119 is a large complex of emission nebula in Cygnus, and is about 3 degrees east of the North American Nebula, located around the bright 5th-magnitude star 68 Cygni. I only shot 40 300 second images and am not sure if I want to shot longer.
Stewart Sharpless described sh2-119 as a Type 3, "bright" in his "Catalogue of H II Regions" published in 1959. The area is part of the Milky Way and is populated by numerous stars. The nebula emits all of its light in isolated emission lines. Mostly the lines of  Hα, [OIII] and [SII], so I thought the Optolong L-Ultimate filter would be good to use.

In the middle of the image, just to the left of the brightest star, you will see a small planetary nebula PK 87-3.1, which can easily be seen in the larger image.
