Description

Continuing to work through the list of mostly small and faint IC and NGC objects close to the south celestial pole we come to IC4545. This is another galaxy discovered by DeLisle Stewart in 1901 using plates taken with the large Bruce refractor. Although measuring just 2 x 1', some interesting spiral structure can be seen, along with a bright nucleus.

I believe this is another first on astrobin object.
