Description

After 25 hours exposure time, I had a lot of data to play around with and decide how I wanted to compile it. I'm finding that this is just as much an art as it is a science. While I chose a SHO palette, I changed the color balance quite a bit. With this part of the sky being predominantly in Hydrogen-Alpha, I didn't like the overwhelming green of a traditional SHO image. I mixed a large percentage of the S-II and O-III data in with it to get what I felt was a more pleasing color.
