Description

M82, taken accidentally during a major wind storm. The night started calm, and I neglected to check the weather report. Turns out a huge windstorm was arriving shortly.

So I awoke in the middle of the run because of very loud winds. My weather station was reporting gusts up to 29 mph. But surprisingly, the frames were looking ok, so I decided to keep going. The neighborhood lost power for about 2 minutes, but when it came back up, I restarted the series and kept going. The AP mount tracked through the wind like a champ! The stars are definitely fatter than they would be because of the bad seeing, but all things considered, it turned out pretty well.

THE LRGB data was taken that night, but the HA portion was taken over then next two nights.
