Description

A brief test - 2hrs 10mins is all the imaging Gods would allow me - of the efficiency of the Samyang 135/ ASI 2600 MC/ IDAS NBZ
for capturing weak emission nebulae (in this case the flying bat) at f2.

Believe the sensor tilt is a bit wonky - hence the laughable star shapes in the bottom right corner.

Overall not too bad considering the short integration  but the setup may struggle to capture good quality images of weak emission nebulae
(e.g. flying bat and squid) without integrating for a very long time (> 10 hours).  Not sure I have that luxury living under Yorkshire skies.

It will be interesting to revisit with the 2600MM which arrives tomorrow - I'm hoping that it will  more efficient.
