Description

Nebula are back! One clear night in a month and only 3 hrs. of darkness this time of year - and a half moon. Still managed to catch the Eastern Vail as it came up. This is HOO with the typical cyan cast removed in PS. Stars removed with StarXterminator and short-exposure, low-stretch RGB stars added back. Topaz DeNoise and PS CameraRaw denoise used as well. Not a lot of other processing needed. I was surprised by the delicate, wispy detail in the light portions with only 90 minutes integration.

Hope to get the rest of the Vail - if the skies cooperate. But it won't be anytime soon.
