Description

This is my first real image with the SCA260 and my first image of any sort with the QHY268M camera and Antlia filters.  I have done very little LRGB in the past since I've focused almost all my time on narrowband due to light pollution and time constraints around the new moon.  My processing skills are not yet where they need to be for LRGB and I will definitely try to reprocess this.  The first night I worked on this target I misconfigured APCC on my new imaging computer and prevented the meridian flip from happening, so I lost half a night.  The second night was extremely windy, gusting up to 28mph, so there were a lot of rejected subs from wind induced guiding problems.  Since the moon is not really going to allow any more data to be collected on this target at the moment I processed what I have.  This is the first time I've imaged with diffraction spikes also, so dealing with those in processing has been a learning curve and it's another place I'm not strong enough yet.
