Description

Imaged on two nights from the backyard.
Cloudy weather prevented a planned third night.

This is the famous Spider and the Fly nebulas in Auriga, along with the Starfish Cluster (M38 / NGC 1912), and the smaller NGC 1907 nearby.
This is an HSO image with RGB stars.  I tried SHO, but I liked the details in the spider and color a little bit more with the HSO version.
SII and HA have a fairly strong signal, the OIII signal was very weak, with little showing up, even after 5 hours of integration.

Interestingly the Spider has a little alien friend hanging out nearby....
I included a cropped version so you can see the Spider, Fly and Alien a little better.
The  widefield shot also contains the the Starfish Cluster and NGC 1907.

Thanks for looking
Clear Skies!
Pete
