Description

Having some fun here -  cruising around the South Pole with a 3 x Barlow.  I rotated the camera to give a flat horizon and general moonscape impression. Quite pleased with the effect.  Hell of a lot cheaper than building and launching a Saturn 5!

Klapbroth and Casatus are image center -  with half of Blancarnus bottom center and Moretus, bottom left in the shadows. To give an idea of scale Klabroth, in the foreground is 119 km diameter, and 3.1 km deep.  Casatus, just behind it, with the small central crater, is 111 km diameter and 5.5 km deep.
