Description

A widefield narrowband image of the Sagittarius Trio - M8, M20 and NGC 6559 (a dense region of stars, interstellar dust clouds, and dark nebulae, reflection nebulae and emission nebulae).  It is best observed during summer low on the southern horizon in the northern hemisphere.

This image was taken over the span of several evenings, totaling just under 14 hours of data acquisition.
