Description

Peculiar galaxy (thought to be a round elliptical galaxy with a thin disk embedded inside with active nucleus) 31 mln ly away in Virgo constellation, 30% size of our own Milky Way galaxy.

On of the goals was to obtait weak stellar stream around M104 discovered in 1997  [more details here]. It was hard to achive because of just 33 deg culmination.
Nevertheless southern part is celarly visible, though northern has only weak traces.
