Description

The following way to convert the RAW's of the new OM Systems OM-1 into general unaltered readable format currently works best:

Import into AdobeDNG, export into 48bit TIFF (can be LZW compressed to save space) with ACDSee.
After that stacked as usual with Autostakkert. With good seeing quite with 1,5x drizzle.

Because the moon at this size no longer completely fit at Sensor, I had created a panorama with Affinity Photo before from the two fields. Afterwards processed as usual in Pixinsight (Decon, MLT, LHE and color balance). Finalized (crop, color saturation) in ACDsee.

For the interesting left side I had 962 frames, for the anyway low contrast right side I had used 532 frames for stacking. 10% each

The drizzle stack was then finally rescaled to 67%, which then corresponds in something again to the original resolution of the OM-1 of 20 MPixel. It is shown here image.
