Description

Tarantula Nebula (NGC 2070) / LMC area:  Imaged 02/13/2023 from i Telescope's Chile imaging site,
in the Rio Hurtado Valley, it is 30 degrees South, and approx 5,000' elevation.  The Takahashi has a focal length of 500mm,
and a 180mm aperture, operating at f 2.8, so it gathers data quickly.   The imaging system has a 2.7 x 1.8 degree field.
1 hour integration: 10 * 2 minutes with each of R, G, B filters.  Located about 160,00 light years away in Doradus, it is one of
the most active star forming regions in the Local Group.  The nebula is several times brighter and larger than the Orion nebula.
Processing: APP (integration only),  Pixinsight, and final tweaks in Photoshop.
