Description

NGC 7822 / Cederblad 214 (Ced 214), it's a chaotic deep-sky region where young stars are being born, and their powerful radiation ionizing the surrounding gas and causing it to glow, 
The structure in the nebula is sculpted by the stellar winds from huge young stars.

This complex of emission nebulae lies about 2,500-3,200 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Cepheus.
