Description

New guidescope - 60mm instead of 30mm. This is more adequate for the focal length. I can still balance the scope on my HEQ5, but I need another counterweight for a more sensible low-torque weight placement.

I am getting better at processing. This one is LRGB style. Did color calibration and gradient removal on the stack and then seperated L and RGB. L was edited with deconvolution, a little denoise, mild masked stretch and curve transformations with starnet generated galaxy mask. Star cores were smoothed out with a tight starmask and convolution. RGB was saturated in the linear state, green noise removed, denoised and then mildy masked stretched. Star cores were repaired with a tight starmask and convolution. Some more stretching with a galaxy mask. L and RGB were merged via Lab ChannelCombination. Some sharpening on the final image and star reduction.

I a few more hours would have been good, but I like it already.
