Description

Located in Cepheus, Barnard 175 is the relatively dim and linear Wolf's Cave Nebula, terminating on the far right with the bright blue reflection nebula vdB 152. Immediately below the reflection nebula is a small red linear HH450, a Herbig Haro object, a narrow jet of ionized gas in an area of new star formation.  In the first version, I had removed thinking it was some odd artifact, only to realize later it was signal that belonged in the final image.

Title: Showing Herbig Haro object HH 450

Description: When I first processed this image, I was distracted by the small red "artifact" in the far lower right, immediately below the blue reflection nebula vdB 152. Further image reviews disclosed that this is actually HH 450, a Herbig Haro object. This version restores that object.
