Description

NGC 660 is a captivating and extraordinary polar ring galaxy located approximately 45 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Pisces. What really makes it remarkable is that it is the only known galaxy of its kind to host a lenticular galaxy. NGC 660 likely formed when two galaxies collided about a billion years ago.
