Viver no sul do brasil é viver um pouco de cada estação. Temos estações do ano bem definidas: Invernos muito frios, com temperaturas negativas e verões muito quentes, com temperaturas na casa de 35 graus celsius.
Nesse cenário, temos invernos com muitas noites maravilhosamente limpas e verões horríveis, com poucas noites limpas para praticar astrofotografia.
Em 7 anos fazendo astrofotografia, devo ter tido no máximo umas 10 noites boas para fotografar um dos objetos mais lindos do nosso céu noturno: A nebulosa de Orion. Muitas vezes por pouco conhecimento, outras vezes com algum problema no equipamento, sempre algo acabava não funcionando e esse objeto acabava não sendo fotografado por mim. No final do ano de 2022 se abriu uma janela de 5 noites limpas e resolvi utiliza-las para enfim, fotografar com o devido cuidado que Orion merece.
Fiz dois painéis com 6 horas cada (2 horas cada canal)
O resultado, como vocês podem ver, me surpreendeu muito. O nível de detalhes é exuberante, com nuances de cores e traços de halpha (mesmo não utilizando Halpha na captura). Muito dos detalhes se devem a excelente ferramenta BlurXterminator (https://www.rc-astro.com).
O telescópio usado foi um Astrograph Newtoniano de 200MM F3.9, ( https://www.fotonastro.com.br/ ) com a câmera ASI183MMPRO.
Os frames foram de 180 segundos em BIN 2x2.
A imagem publicada está com 70% do tamanho original de um mosaico de 2 painéis. ( obrigado https://www.astrobin.com/users/grsotnas/ por juntar os paineis para mim)

To live in the south of Brazil is to experience a little bit of each season. We have well defined seasons: very cold winters, with negative temperatures, and very hot summers, with temperatures around 35 degrees Celsius.
In this scenario, we have winters with many wonderfully clear nights and horrible summers, with few clear nights to practice astrophotography.
In 7 years of astrophotography, I must have had at most 10 good nights to photograph one of the most beautiful objects in our night sky: the Orion nebula. Many times due to lack of knowledge, other times because of some equipment problem, something always ended up not working and this object ended up not being photographed by me. At the end of 2022 a window of 5 clear nights opened up and I decided to use them to finally photograph it with the due care that Orion deserves.
I made two panels with 6 hours each (2 hours each channel)
The result, as you can see, surprised me a lot. The level of detail is exuberant, with nuances of color and halpha traces (even though I did not use halpha in the capture). Much of the detail is due to the excellent BlurXterminator tool (https://www.rc-astro.com).
The telescope used was a 200MM F3.9 Newtonian Astrograph, ( https://www.fotonastro.com.br/ ) with the ASI183MMPRO camera.
The frames were 180 seconds in 2x2 BIN.
