Description

In the 1960’s, Sidney Van der Bergh classified 158 nebulae that had reflection nebula properties.  VdB 123 is one of those reflective nebulae, which doesn’t have enough radiant energy to give its own light, but rather reflects the star color properties from nearby energy sources off dust and gas within the region.  This bluish reflection region in the center is one of those reflective nebula.  I gave this faint target a go with about 4 hours of data in RGB.
