Description

FP J0721+0133 (aka PN G215.0+07.4) was discovered as part of the MASH survey of planetary nebulae around 2004.
However it was subsequently redesignated as ionised interstellar medium. Until recently the only image of it was this:1023-colour.jpg

Recently I was imaging it, alongside its brighter companion Abell 20, which is a true PN. This revealed [OIII] emission in FP J07221+133.  As a result FP J07221+133 has now been reclassified as a possible PN, pending deeper imaging, spectra, and the identification of a hot white dwarf progenitor.
