Description

Previous years we were up in the middle of the night on the front balcony together, sleepily watching a cloudy sky without any success.
This year we were counting the meteorites for about an hour :-)
t was a beautiful night and we could clearly see many celestial landmarks - Sirius, Orion, Betelgeuse, Aldebaran, Pleiades.
This is a single 10s exposure with the camera centred on Castor to approximate the epicentre of the Geminids. I took about 20 mins of  consecutive 10s exposures and managed to capture a decent meteor on one image.
Taken from our back yard between the house and the water tank!
