Description

The largest supernova remnant in the constellation Cygnus that is about 2500 lightyears from earth.
I have wanted to capture the entire Cygnus Loop ever since I first imaged the Witches Broom Nebula (NGC 6960). I call the Eastern Veil Nebula (NGC 6992) the nebula that smiles back, or the Kraken that knows you are next 😁

Taken from my backyard under Bortle 8.4 skies.
292 images @ 30 seconds each
Total integration time 2h43m
Only biases and flats. No darks.
