Description

An HOO image composited from data using the TMB130 with the ASI2600MC and L-eXtreme filter Oct. 28, 2021, and RGB stars from the TMB130 with the D810 astro-modded cam Nov. 16, 2020.

8 hrs integration time with the 2600MC/L-eXtreme  64×450″, Bortle 5 backyard Palmdale, CA
3 hrs integration time  RGB with the D810  45×240″ ,                Bortle 1 Death Valley, CA

I utilitzed Bill Blanshan's HOONormalization v.5 script to help process the HOO image.
Also used the DBE, SPCC, GHS, BlurX, NoiseX and StarX, along with some curve work, masks, advanced sharpening and screened the RGB stars back into the HOO image.

NGC 281, the Pac-Man Nebula is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia about 9,500 light-years from Earth. Young star cluster IC 1590, as well as several dense, dark clouds of cosmic dust called bok globules, call the Pac-Man Nebula home.

Thanks for looking!
Clear Skies,
-Pete
