Description

SH2-112 is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus, the Swan. Not commonly imaged as it takes a back stage to the more popular targets in Cygnus. This target was imaged through the persistent veil of smoke that has taken over most of BC and Canada this summer. I did the best I could to cull the data and stack only the "best" of the worst smokey frames. I used all three narrowband channels, but processed it with a natural broadband palate in mind. The typical SHO colours didn't seem to work well with the data so this is why I went with the red broadband look for the combination. I kept the stars full and bright with no minimizing in the final image.

Hope all is well and Clear air and Clear skies,

Dan.
