Description

To seen the globular cluster M3 and light curves of 16 RRAB type RR Lyrae variable stars.
RRAB  are RR Lyrae variables with asymmetric light curves (steep ascending branches), periods from 0.3 to 1.0 days, and amplitudes from 0.5 to 2 mag. in V. They are fundamental mode pulsators.

Imaged on 2022 04.14. from 18:50 to 21:50 UT
Time span for the light curves 3hrs
For the stack I used 150 x 1min frames (2.5hrs)
ASI174mm no filter.

The total amount of variable stars I found is 40, but in the image I show only 16 of them. I think 16 is enough 🙂

M3 contains 274 known variable stars, by far the most found in any globular cluster.
