Description

NGC 4151 is an intermediate spiral Seyfert galaxy with weak inner ring structure located 15.8 megaparsecs from Earth in the constellation Canes Venatici. The galaxy was first mentioned by William Herschel on March 17, 1787; it was one of the six Seyfert galaxies described in the paper which defined the term.  - Wikipedia

This is my second attempt at this object with better but not ideal results but I've learn something from each attempt and I beleive third time will be the charm.

First attempt was only a couple of hours in duration but was enought to reveal the 'eye" portion.....but no sign of the faint arms.  The second go round I doubled the exposure time and managed to reveal the faint arms but just barely.

The next attempt I'll be going MUCH longer on this object to insure the data fully reveals the arms and I'll make this object the cetner piece of the shot an hopefully a final! (Until I get more aperture that is ;-)
