Description

In spite of having apparently the hottest temperatures ever recorded in September, reaching 32.6C approx. 93F recently, somewhere in England, and the clear skies that accompany the beautiful weekish of weather, sadly the skies were not quite what the weather forecasters were saying, during the evenings. There seems to have been a lot of Sahara sand dust, or something, in the upper atmosphere, and a kind of high wispy cloud. This means I got a lot less data than I was hoping for, but this image is the result of one set. The saga with my star-sort-of-halo issue continues. I have swapped the filters for another company's, and alas the issue still remains!! After all the aggro in getting them swapped, I cannot believe the problem is still occurring. I now think it must be something to do with the flattener-reducer with the scope - what else can it be!? It is beginning to grate all this, but I am trying to process out the issue with the stars, but it is not easy. So, we will see what Sharpstar say...

Thanks everyone. Hope you are well. Simon
