Description

Generally I don't publish the work I do for others, but for this wonderful M33 I'll gladly make an exception. The data were acquired by my amateur astrophotographer friend Giacomo Gotra from his beautiful Tuscan sky and I did the rest.
In this composition, I wanted to highlight the countless HII regions of the Triangulum Galaxy (M33). Of these, 14 are included in the famous NGC and IC catalogs while the remainder are described in more recent scientific papers and the acronyms (taken from SIMBAD) are the initials of the authors of the articles.The lesser-known HII areas are made up of various regions that have different acronyms and I have assigned only one of them for simplicity.
