Description

Finally two nights that where quite OK.
Had been waiting to try out the new mono-cam and filters since months.

This Image is the result of two partial nights (I could only image from 21:00 to 03:00 due to houses covering the  target before and after). After setting up NINA (Filter Offsets using Hocus Focus), collimating the Scope, etc. I was finally again collecting light.

I used BIN 2x2 mode which equals 1x1 on the 294MC Pro for L, SII, H-alpha and OIII.
For R, G and B i used shorter exposure times and BIN 3x3.

The LRGB Data where processed as I normally do:
- RGB: Crop, DBE, Linear-Fit, Deconvolution, RBG Combine, SPCC, Noise Reduction, Stretch, Local Hist. EQ, Unsharp, Curves (with Masks), Final Noise-Red
- L: Pretty much the same but not SPCC obviously
- Combine LRGB
I have then created a Stary only Picture (LRBG Stars)

The NB Data was processed pretty similar with the difference that I did the stretching before combining them using Pixelmath and the ForaxX Palette (forumals and decrition here: https://thecoldestnights.com/2020/06/pixinsight-dynamic-narrowband-combinations-with-pixelmath).
I removed the stars as I don't want the NB-Stars but later will add the LRGB ones.

I also created Starless Images of the Linear NB Data and combined them to get a synthetic Luminance Channel with Pixelmath. after some stretching, tweeking and Noise Reduction the NB-Synthetic Luminance was added to the almost Final SHO-ForaxX Image.

Finally I added back the LRGB Stars and did minor Star Reduction, a final and Soft Noise Terminations with a higher Sharpening Setting.
