Sh2-308 hangs just over my roofline from my home and is quite low from my perspective PLUS it hits the treeline rather quicly so I only have a brief time to image each night, at most 100 minutes. I suspect the thermal currents from my house might have played a role in many light frames being rejected.
Whatever, it was fun and I am reasonably satisfied. Processing was more difficult than I anticipated.

Dolphin-Head Nebula, is an
H II region located near the center of the
constellationCanis Major, composed of
ionised hydrogen. It is about 8 degrees south of
Sirius, the brightest
star in the night sky. The
nebula is bubble-like and surrounds a
Wolf–Rayet star named
