This comet is currently traveling inward through our solar system, and is expected to reach its perihelion, closest point to the Sun. January 3, 2022. There is some speculation that Comet Leonard has the potential to become visible to the naked eye. If not, it should still be visible December-January with binoculars or a telescope.
